Scholefield, the well-known New Zealand historian and author. For over thirty years Dr. Scholefield, who is Parliamentary Librarian, has been conducting researches for this Dictionary, and has brought to light much information that is both new and valuable. The Dictionary contains biographies of over 3000 New Zealanders both Maori and pakeha. It also contains an introduction by the author and extensive bibliography, and a glossary of Maori words.
