Mr S. B. Macdonald, now of Auckland and formerly of Dunedin, is on a visit to this city. A Press Association cable from London states that it is officially announced that Colonel H. L. Nathan, M.P., Lieutenant-colonel C. I. Kerr, M.P., and Sir Charles Barrie, ex-member for Southampton have become barons, Mr L. A Brunton, who has been accountant at the Union Bank of Australia, Ltd., for the past 12 years, will leave Dunedin for Wellington on Thursday. South-bound passengers by Union Airways yesterday afternoon were Mr J. S. Tunna from Auckland, Mrs W. Lewis, Mr E. Nichol, Mrs J. MacDonald, and Mr H. R. Thompson from Wellington, and Mr C. Gunn, Mr Maclean, Mr A. J. Hinton, Mr E. B. Patrick, and Mr E. Hosiet from Christchurch.
