ALBANY 1 v. KIWI The game between Albany I and Kiwi was the feature of Saturday’s play. Kiwi played with great confidence in the first half and when half time was called had succeeded if obtaining a legd of 12 goals to 7 .. ~ The second halt was exciting with Albany playing a greatly improved game, the forwards scoring the necessary goals to bring the score within two. of their opponents tally In the closing minutes both teams were playing on top and Albany was successful in again finding the ring. Time was called with the score standing at 16 all The game was controlled by Mr F Malcolmson Y.W.C.A (FINDLAY’S' v. ALBANY 11 The game between Y.W.C.A. (Findlay s) and Albany II resulted in a win for the Findlay’s team by 14 goals to 7 Findlay s secured a lead in the early stages of the game, which they maintained throughout, mainly because of good positional play and faster handlin' 1 of the ball The half time score was Y.W.C.A (Findlay s> 9, Albany II 5 Mr F Malcolmson controlled the game . Y.W.C.A 1 v Y.W.C.A. 11 An enioyable and interesting game was played between the Y.W.C.A. two First Grade teams Tine second team offered stern opposition to its more experienced opponents and managed to keep the score within reasonable limits The second team’s forwards found difficulty in gettine into good scoring positions The half time score was Y:W.C.A, I 7.
