OTAGO VERSUS CANTERBURY WIN FOR HOME TEAM Otago scored a win over Canterbury by 64 runs in the' women’s cricket match which was concluded in fine weather at the Oval yesterday. At the close of play on Saturday Otago had a first innings tally of 89, with 52 runs on for five wickets in the second innings, as against Canterbury’s first innings total of 57. E. Wise (22) ana A. Nuttall (17) were the only players to reach double figures in Canterbury s second innings, which was completed with 56 runs on the board.
