EASTER TOURNEY PAIRS COMPETITION SECTION WINNERS FOUND The Dunedin Bowling Centre’s Easter tournament was advanced a, stage further on Saturday, when the four preliminary rounds and section ties of the pairs competition were decided. There was a record entry of 196 pairs, which necessitated the use of 16 greens, two sections, each of three games, being played on all of them except North-East Valley, on which eight games were decided. Postsection games and the finals of the fours will be played to-day on the Kaikorai and Kaituna greens, and play in the pairs will be continued on the North-East Valley, Anderson’s Bay and Tainui greens in the forenoon and the Kaituna green in the afternoon A centennial fours competition will also be plajyed on the St. Kilda, Caversham.
