DE CLIFFORD.—On March 20, 1940, at Dunedin, Ada Martha, beloved wife of James de Clifford, 48 Queen’s drive, Musselburgh; aged 61 years. Deeply mourned. Private interment from our Mortuary Chapel, Clarke street, To-day (Thursday), the 21st inst., at 3 p.m.—Hugh Gourley, Ltd., funeral directors. MUIR.—On March 20, 1940, at Dunedin, Mary Isabel Muir, formerly of 637 George street: aged 71 years.—R. McLean and Son. funeral directors. SPROULE.—On March 19, 1940. at Oamaru, Charles, beloved husband of the late Ellen Sproule; Moeraki, and father of Thomas Sproule, Wingatui; aged ,88 years. " I will meet my Pilot face to face when I have crossed the bar.” —The Funeral will leave Messrs Hope and Kinaston’s Chapel, 78 St. Andrew street, Dunedin, To-day (Thursday), the 21st inst., at 2 p.m., for the Northern Cemetery.—Stringer and Wilson, funeral directors. WEIR.—On March 17, at Christchurch Hospital, Edward (Ted), late of Stirling and Sandymount.—Privately interred at Sydenham Cemetery, Christchurch, on March 19.
