ST. CLAIR CARNIVAL

The final night of the St. Clair carnival will be , to-morrow, when the special attraction will be the appearance of the St. Kilda Municipal Band, giving its first public performance since the Centennial Band Contest. The band will render quickstep music and will march along the Esplanade at 7.30, Later in the evening it will play several items from the band rotunda. It is expected that there will be a large attendance of the public to acclaim the band that has secured Dominion honours in both the Quickstep and the test pieces. The carnival will be in full swing with its many games, amusement devices and refreshment stalls, and there will also be the floodlighting and illuminations for which the St. Clair camfval is always noted This will'definitely be the final night, and as the will be devoted to the improvement of the amenities of St. Clair beach, the promoters hope the public will give the carnival full support to-morrow night.
