SWORDFISHING TROPHIES
■ SYDNEY SPORTSMAN’S GIFT (Special to Daily Times) AUCKLAND, Feb. 12. Bringing with him a silver and gold cup and a gold medal for competition among the launchmen and fishermen at the Bay of Islands, Mr E. P. Andreas, of Sydney, a frequent visitor to New Zealand for fishing, has arrived at Mr Andreas said that when he was at Russell last year he promised to present a cup for the launchman at the Bay of Islands who had the greatest tally of swordfish during the Centennial season. The gold medal would be presented to the member of the Bay of Islands Sword Fishing Club who brought into Russell the heaviest swordfish of the season.
