MILITARY CADETS
TRAINING AT DUNTROON ANOTHER TEN SELECTED (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON. Feb. 12. Another 10 cadets have been selected for training at the Duntroon Military College, Canberra, under the Government’s policy of close co-operation with Australia on defence matters. In previous years the number of cadets has been five, but since the outbreak of war it has been decided to send double the number. The selected cadets, who will attend a three years' course at Duntroon with a view to their qualifying as officers in the New Zealand military forces, are: — P, F. Hewitt (Auckland). R. M Martin (Auckland), R. S. Gardner (Auckland), R. M. Gurr (Whangarei). R. H. F. Holloway (Hawera), A. W. Fitchett (Wellington). P. L. Molinezus (Christchurch). R. W. K. Ainge (Timaru). K. J. D. McCorkindale (Dunedin), and G. K. Bruce (Wellington).
