GERMAN SCHOOL LESSONS
The German High Command has •complained that German school children are not being educated along sufficiently militaristic lines. To remedy this deficiency, thl High Command h£s issued a series of “directions ” for the conduct of lessons. The chemistry lesson, it is stated, should be used for giving instruction in chemical warfare and the use of gases. Mathematics arid physics should be employed for lessons in ballistics and artillery calculations. In history German military achievements must be emphasised, and in geography strategic considerations must be underlined.
