HALF-YEARLY MEETING HIGH QUALITY SHOW EXHIBITS (Per United Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Dec. 13. The half-yearly meeting of the New Zealand Milking Shorthorn Association, held at Invercargill, was attended by North Island breeders as well as a good representation of South Island members. The president (Mr Allan, of Hawke’s Bay) congratulated the exhibitors on the splendid animals at the Royal Show, and said that the exhibition was a credit to the breed. The judge (Mr W. J. Slack, of Bunnythorpe) gave a general review of the stock that came before him at the show, and said he did not expect to see such high-quality stock in Southland.
