OTAGO JUNIOR CRICKET

A meeting of the Otago Junior Cricket Club was held in the Y.M.C.A. rooms on Tuesday evening, there being a good representation of the various clubs present. A resolution was passed for submission to the Otago Cricket Association asking that some readjustment be made in the grading of teams to do away with the byes existing in 81, 82, and Third Grades. The president, Mr D. Miller, made reference to the games being played by the junior representative side during Country Week, and enlarged on the enjoyment and experience which these players would benefit by from such encounters. It was decided to hold the next meeting on January 23.
