"CHURCH UNION"

TO THE EDITOR

Sir,—Lest there be some confusion and misunderstanding in regard to the term ''church union," as reported in to-day's issue of your valuable journal, permit me to state that in reality it is a union of denominationalism rather than that of the church, for the reason that the " true church " is described by Paul as being a body of believers who are being called out by God from every kindred, tribe, and nation to form and constitute the " Church which is Christ's Body." In that church there is no place or room for denominationalism. The efforts now being made to unite the denominations is only a fulfilment of Scripture.—l am, etc.', E. E. Knight, Evangelist. Dunedin, November 23.
