OTAGO CLUB The third rounds of the competitions for the Intermediate Cup and the Balmacewen Cup were played on the Balmacewen links on Saturday. Allan 3 and 1. BELLEKNOWES CLUB The Single Bogey Handicap played on the Belleknowes links on Saturday resulted in a win for W. Anderson, with a score of 4 up. F. W Kennedy, W. K. Wilkinson and H. V. Huntley tied for second place, on the count back, the latter winning. The best scores were as follows:—W. Anderson 4 up, F. W. Kennedy 3 up, W. K. Wilkinson 3 up, H. V. Huntley 3 up, J. F. A. Templeton, with 43+23—66 points, filled second place. To-day was a lucky one for Christchurch golfers. At Waitikiri J. A. Clements holed his tee shot at the eleventh (175yds). He was followed an hour later by L. Beauchamp, who holed out in one at the fourteenth (205 yards). Norman Tingey holed his tee shot at crossways, the short ninth at Shirley.
