PHYSICAL CULTURE DISPLAY
For the twelfth year in succession, Mr J. V. Hanna, principal of the Dunedin School of Physical Education, offers a massed display of all stages of physical activity embraced by the school, and some 300 pupils will be seen at His Majesty's Theatre on Wednesday night, November 8, in a programme which will undoubtedly set a new standard in Dunedin for this popular type of entertainment. In previous years Mr Hanna has been successful in lifting his shows to a plane of its down through the speed and brightness with which he slips through his programme, and the original and up-to-the minute numbers he presents, and one of the outstanding features has always been the apparently easy and graceful manner in which pupils perform really difficult and highly advanced evolutions in various branches of physical activity. This is a direct result of the careful attention paid by Mr Hanna to the co-ordination of mind and body, which is such an important principle of modern physical education. Details of the entertainment are advertised in this issue.
