TOWN HALL DANCE

At the Town Hall another new dance, the "Patty Cake, Patty Cake,” will be introduced, and a special demonstration of the dance will be given by a couple trained by Miss Constance Potts. The music will be supplied by Dick Colvin’s band of nine players and the five vocalists —Miss Irene Brookes, Jimmie MacFarlane Arthur Waller, Jack Priestly, and George Thorne. A special invitation has been extended to the Air Force recruits, who will be present as guests of the management. Patrons are reminded that nominations arc still being received for the " Personality Girl ” contest, the final of which will be held on November 11. The Otago Junior Ballroom Championship will be held on November 25, the Otago Ballroom Dancing Championship on December 9, and the final of the South Island Dancing Championship on December 16. Further particulars are advertised.
