CHINESE REFUGEE CHILDREN The Mayor (Mr A. H. Allen) acknowledges with thanks receipt of a further donation of £4 from " T. F." to the appeal on behalf of the New Zealand Council for the Adoption of Chinese Refugee Children. He has also to acknowledge a donation of goods for this fund from J M. Lawrence. The total amount subscribed to date is £772 14s 2d.
