PIGEON RACING
DUNEDIN CLUB / , . The Dunedin Homing Pigeon Club flew Its second race from Parnassus on Saturday. The stationmaster liberated 185 birds from 21 lofts in- line but overcast weather, and the birds made a good flight. The winning bird flew the 26J miles In 5 hours 35 minutes at a velocity of 1394 yards per minute. Results:- • j. Taylor’s Wildwood Junior j J Scoullar’s Ace High .. .. .. | S McDonald’s Percy .. ~ . .. .. ’ y J. Ramsay’s Avalon H. Millard’s Jazz Note and C. Watson's Elsa (equal) .. . ...... } The club will fly the first of two racer from Wellington, a distance of 383 miles, next Saturday.
