TOWN HALL DANCE

FANCY DRESS NIGHT Last Saturday evening the management of the Town Hall dance staged the brightest and most spectacular evening's entertainment that patrons of the weekly dances have experienced this season. Thr programme was appreciated by some 1400 dancers and 600 spectators. On Saturday a back-to-chlldhood and fancy dress and costume night will be featured. The music will be supplied by Dick Colvin's Band of nine players, assisted by the four vocalists, Miss Irene Brookes, Jimmy MacFarlane, Jack Priestly and Arthur Waller, and to lend a spirit of gaiety to the surroundings the members of the band will dress in back-to-chlldhood costumes. Good prizes are offered for the best costumes. The judge will be Mr M. S. Bullivant, station director of station 4ZB, Spectators will be admitted to the circle for a small charge. Further particulars are advertised.
