"Inspector Hornleigh," who will be introduced to Dunedin audiences at the Grand Theatre to-day in. the person of i Gordon Harker in the Twentieth Century production of that title, has another characteristic that sets him apart from all other fictional sleuths,; past and present He's a philatelist, and when he is not tracking down a blood-thirsty murderer, he can generally be found hot on the trail of a rare stamp. As a matter of fact, it is only with the. greatest difficulty that his comedy assistant, played by; Alas;tair 45im, succeeds in tearing, him -away from a stamp auction when;-he is called in'to\unravel the. amazing murder .mystery that piotivates-.-the .plot of-, the'■•■■film. In " Everybody's Baby,"'the 1 supjporting film, there is a new addition' tcf the famed' Jones Family and ;Mr-Jones, sen., is'a grandfather. When the greatly excited father and family arrive ito see the child, a quack doctor hired by the wife will not allow them to touch the child. . The subsequent efforts on the part of the relatives to impress on the young mother that the doctor is rtot genuine are more than humorous. The Jones. Family is portrayed, as usual, 'byJed' Prouty, Shirley Deane, Spring. Byington, Russell Gleason. Ken Howell, George Ernest, June Carlson, Florence Roberts, and Billy Mahan. Also featured in the film are Reginald Denny, Robert Allen, Claire Dußrey, and Marvin Stephens. Malcolm St. Clair directed and. John Stone was associate producer. The screen play was prepared by Karen DeWolf. Robert CVapin, Frances Hyland and Albert Ray.
