TWO PAYMENTS VALIDATED (From Our Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, Oct. 3. Two payments by the Dunedin Savings Bank during the current financial vear, one of £250 to the Dunedm Returned Soldiers' Association and another of a similar amount to the Otago Early Settlers* Association are validated by the Finance (No. 2) Bill, in the House of Representatives to-night. The grant to the Returned Soldiers Association was for the erection of headstones on non-war graves in the soldiers' plot in the Anderson's Bay Cemetery and the one to the Early Settlers' Association was for repairs to the association's building.
