WHEELS OF INDUSTRY
SUPPLIES OF RAW MATERIAL MANUFACTURERS CONCERNED (Per United Press Association; WELLINGTON. Aug. 25. The New Zealand Manufacturers’ Federation issued the following statement to-day:—We have been keeping closely in touch with the Government and the Reserve Bank in the matter of availability of exchange for materials and supplies necessary for keeping the wheels of industry turning. The present position is causing the federation grave concern, but before coming to a considered opinion we are awaiting a further statement from the Government.
