POSITION IN DANZIG
POLISH COUP D’ETAT PREDICTED WARSAW, Aug. 24. (Received Aug. 25, at 2 a.m.) The speeding up of defence measures led to serious delays, passenger trains being engaged in the evacuation of civilians from Polish frontier districts. This caused the German press to predict a Polish coup d’etat in Danzig.
