ROTORUA TOURNAMENT RESULTS FINAL TO BE PLAYED TO-DAY (Per United Press Association) ROTORUA, Aug. 24. The quarter and semi-finals in the Rotorua Amateur Golf Championship were played to-day. Results: — Quarter-finals C. H. Wells (Gisborne) defeated S. B. Longuet (Wellington), 4 and 3. M. D. Carr (Rotorua) defeated P. Ralph (Remuera). 4 and 3. R. H. Gladine (Hamilton) defeated E. S. Toogood (Gisborne). 5 and 4. J. E. Stedman (Maungakiekie) defeated R. Craig (Taihape). 2 and 1. Semi-finals Carr defeated Wells. 2 and 1. Glading defeated Stedman, 2 and 1. Th e final will be played to-morrow.
