Turner, London manager of the New Zealand Fruit Board. The purpose of his visit to New Zealand is connected with the Government's plans for taking over the Dominion's apple and pear crops and paying the farmers a guaranteed price... . Mr Turner has had several conversations with Mr W. Nash. Minister of Finance and Marketing, in London, and his presence in New Zealand will be of considerable value and assistance to Mr Nash, when the Government's marketing scheme for fruit is being discussed It is likely that Mr Turner will remain in New Zealand until the New Year.
