SUNKEN SUBMARINE

SALVAGE SHIP REFITTED (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, Aug. 22. (Received Aug. 23, at 7 p.m.) The Liverpool and Glasgow Salvage Association issued a statement on the salvage of the submarine Thetis: "The work of refitting the salvage steamer Zelo is proceeding according to plan. The Zelo will be ready to sail for the scene of operations on Thursday. Some days will elapse after the Zelo's arrival before the preparations for lifting are completed." His Majesty's diving ship Tedworth and the association's steamer Ranger have left Liverpool for the scene.
