GAVIGAN.—On August 22, 1939, at her residence, 17 Cashel street, South Dunedin, Jane, beloved wife of the late Richard Gavigan, late of Otautau; aged 71 years. R.I.P. —Requiem Mass at St. Patrick's Basilica, South Dunedin, on Thursday, August 24, at 9 a.m. Private interment. —Cole and Son, funeral directors.
GILMORE.—On August 21, 1939, at Dunedin, Alexander Michie Gilmore, of Kilmog; aged 77 years.—The Interment will take place at the Merton Cemetery Today (Wednesday), the 23rd inst., following a service in the Merton Presbyterian Church, commencing at 2.30 p.m.—R. McLean and Son, funeral directors. RICHARDSON.—On August 22, 1939, at Balclutha, Janet, dearly beloved wife of the late William Richardson, of Kaitangata.—The Funeral will leave her late residence, Christchurch street, Kaitangata, on Thursday, 24th inst., at 1 p.m., for the Northern Cemetery, Kaitangata.—D. Middlemass, funeral director. SMITH.—On August 21, 1939, at 410 Cumberland street, Minnie Smith. "At rest."—The Funeral will leave our chapel, 78 St. Andrew street. VALENTINE.—On August 22, at Auckland, Arthur Herbert, dearly loved husband of Isabelle Valentine, Pine Hill road, Dunedin. Cremated at Auckland.
