R.I.P. —Requiem Mass at St. Patrick's Basilica, South Dunedin, on Thursday, August 24, at 9 a.m. Private interment. —Cole and Son, funeral directors.

RICHARDSON.—On August 22, 1939, at Balclutha, Janet, dearly beloved wife of the late William Richardson, of Kaitangata.—The Funeral will leave her late residence, Christchurch street, Kaitangata, on Thursday, 24th inst., at 1 p.m., for the Northern Cemetery, Kaitangata.—D. VALENTINE.—On August 22, at Auckland, Arthur Herbert, dearly loved husband of Isabelle Valentine, Pine Hill road, Dunedin. Cremated at Auckland.
