CURRENCY SMUGGLING
PENALTIES TIGHTENED UP LONDON, Aug. 10. (Received Aug. 10, at 10 p.m.) The Rome correspondent of the British United Press says the penalties for currency smuggling have been tightened up, and include the death penalty, and confiscation of all a condemned person’s property when the smuggling is carried on in collusion with a foreigner.
