PROTECTION OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN
MONTHLY MEETING The monthly meeting of the Society for the Protection of Women and Children was held in the Council Chamber, Town Hall, on Wednesday, when there were present Dr McKinnon (in the chair), the Mayoress (Mrs A. H. Allen). Mrs Park, Dr Marion Whyte, Miss Runciman, Captain Dickinson, Mr Steven, the Rev. W. A. Curzon-Siggers and the secretary (Miss Coe-Smith). : The secretary’s report was read and discussed, Maintenance! money and widows’ pensions collected and disbursed amounted to £llO 12s 2d.
