MINIATURE SHOOTING
CENTRAL OTAGO ASSOCIATION The following are the top 10-men averages of the clubs competing in the Dewar Cup competition conducted by the Central Otagp Miniature Rifle Association. A good performance was put up by Kawarau Men. who recorded 78.5. The following are the detailed scores: —Kawarau 78.5, Cromwell 76.6, Ranfurly 76.4, Clyde 75.7, Kyeburn 74.9, Strath-Taieri 74.5, Cromwell Women 74.14. Davidson, Miss I. Campbell, F. Longman, and W. W. Pearson. WAIPIATA CLUB The shooting at the weekly shoot of the Waipiata Miniature Rifle Club was well below standard this week. G. Davidson held his form and put on a possible to take the rifle button. J. Mount was handicap winner. The average was 76.4. The Andrew and Alexandra Herald Cup shoots have been postponed, and will commence now with the shoot on Tuesday next on the Clyde range. All members are requested to be present at the.se shoots.
