STRUCK AN ICEBERG

BRITISH FREIGHTER NO IMMEDIATE DANGER (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, Aug. 7. The British freighter Beaverbill. of 10,041 tons, belonging to the Canadian Pacific Railway, struck an iceberg in a dense fog 100 miles off the coast of Newfoundland. The Beaverhill is reported to be in no immediate danger, and she is proceeding slowly under her own steam. The Ausonia and Montclare are standing by.
