FORECAST FOR. OTAGO CLOUDY AND UNSETTLED The following official weather forecast for Otagd» covering- the ensuing 24 hours, was issued a- 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Moderate to strong northerly winds, possibly turning Sater to south westerlies. Weather cloudy and unsettled, with rain probable, but more especially in the west. Temperatures mild. Seas slight to moderate. DOMINION FORECAST MILD TEMPERATURES PREDICTED The following is the official weather forecast for the Dominion:— An extensive complex depression is moving from the Tasman Sea on to New Zealand. Indications are for:— Winds.—North-westerly to northerly, moderate to fresh generally, rising to gale force in some exposed positions; change to south-westerly probable in the south within 24 hours. Seas.—New Zealand waters: Rough on west coast and about Cook Strait; Rather rough at first north of Tauranga, elsewhere slight t 0 moderate in coastal waters. Eastern Tasman Sea: Strong north-westerly winds, changing later to west or south-west in southern portion; seas rough. ■ Weather.—Cloudy, overcast, and unsettled, with intermittent rain in western districts, and rain extending at times to parts of eastern areas; temperatures mild.
