The youth office Was specially- -,to- be thanked for releasing Sister Iris Wilson for the institute, and also for an itinerary of the various charges immediately ' after the institute for instructional work among Sunday school teachers and Bible class leaders. ; v. _ Following on the resolution of the Presbytery at its last meeting, negotiations had been carried on with; the executive councils and Otago District Committees of the Young MeriV and Young Women's Bible class movements, and permission had been granted for the organising of the area into a separate Central Otago District Committee. A committee of eight had been set up, and was anxious to com*mence visitation, and the other activities of the Bible class movements," all of which could be expected to have a beneficial reaction on- the control of the church's youth work in Central Otago. A donation of £5 from the executive of the young women's, mover ment. for preliminary expenses ' was gratefully received. . ~ The Rev. A. L.
