WORLD AFFAIRS

SERIES OF MEETINGS A series of meetings for the discussion of world affairs has been arranged by the Dunedin W.E.A. The first meeting will be held at the Theosonhical Hall, Dowling street, on Wednesday at 8 p.m.. when Dr G. C. Billing will preside. The general subject for the course is "New Zealand and the World To-dav," and the speakers next Wednesday—Messrs R. G. C. McNab. M.A., John Harris. 8.A., and John A. Brailsford, B.A—will give three views of "The Present Outlook." Speakers at later meetings will include Messrs Angus Ross, M.A., and Ernest Duncan. M.A.. and probably Mr L. V. Bryant, M.A.. of Oamaru. who has just returned from Europe. The first meeting is free to all. Those who join for the course will pay a fee of 2s 6d. Particulars are advertised.
