Mademoiselle Irina Burnaia, the charming representative of Young Rumania, is quite unspoiled by the admiration she received on her trip to England last month. This young flyer went to fetch flowers and soil from that bit of British earth "that is for ever Dacia" in honour of the anniversary of King Carol's return to hiis country in 1930. For 200 veera. front the time of Hadrian until 400 A.D., the Dacian cohort of auxiliaries was stationed on the Roman Wall at the camp of Amboglanna (Birdoswald), and this was the young airwoman's objective. She is also a fully qualified barrister. Mile Burnaia has made long journeys in her small single-seater aeroplane, having been as far as Bagdad and Victoria Nyanza.',
