An excellent way to clean wallpaper is to rub the soiled patch with a perfectly clean rubber sponge. * * v If the soup has been made too salty, boil a piece of raw potato in it for a few minutes before serving. * * * Brush over good stiff brown paper with a thin soluton of glue, dust emery powder on, and when it is dry vou are supplied with emery paper. * * * There is no reason why the grilled or fried chop should not be served up more attractively than we are accustomed to see it. Shape it before cooking and use little skewers. Before serving remove the skewers.
