BRITISH SHIPBUILDERS
A PERIOD OF ACTIVITY INCREASED CONSTRUCTION LONDON, July 11. The tide has turned in favour of British shipbuilders, whose yards have increased merchant construction by 71,156 to 402,080 tons for the quarter ended June 30. Continental yards declined from 656,845 to 480,728 tons.
