PASSPORT REGULATIONS
CHANGES AT SINGAPORE JAPANESE PERTURBED SINGAPORE, July 11. (Received July 12, at 0.15 a.m.) The Japanese press complains that the new passport regulations virtually close the door to Japanese. It declares that this is a breach of the treaty between Britain and . apan providing for freedom of entry and residence for Japanese, and it also contends that the regulations aie retaliatory against the Japanese attitude in China.
