MAGISTRATE’S COURT

Tuesday, July 11 (Before Mr H. J. Dixon, S.M.) Undefended Cases Judgment for the plaintiffs was given in the following undefended cases:—Stuart Alexander Moore v. Patrick McFelin, claim £5 ss, for professional services rendered, with costs (£1 12s 6d); D.LC. v. Soren C. Hansen (Tarras), claim £2 19s lid, for sale of goods executed in Dunedin, with costs (£1 5s 6d); De Luxe Petrol Station, Ltd., v, E. J. Evans (Tomahawk), claim £5 ss, for goods supplied, with costs (£1 14s 6d); R. J. and O. Keogh v. Jessie Andrews, claim £2 ss, the amount owing for cartage done, with costs (£1 6s 0d). Judgment Summons T. E. Mclnnes proceeded against Kathleen Casey on a judgment summons, claiming £5 16s lid, for goods supplied.—There was no appearance of the debtor, and the circumstances of the case were outlined for the plaintiff by Mr F, W. McElrea.-—An order was made for the payment of the full amount forthwith, with costs (10s), in default four days’ imprisonment, the issue of the warrant to be suspended provided the debtor pays 5s a week, the first payment to be, made by July 18.
