HOCKEY
WOMEN’S EXECUTIVE MEETING
At the last meeting of the Executive Committee of the Women’s Hockey Association, Mrs Sonntag was in the chair and the other members present were: Mrs Borthwick, and Misses Wilson, Fairburn, Warburton, and Morton, and Mr Wallace.
Prior to the ordinary business, members of the Social Committee attended the meeting. The thanks of the executive were extended to those who had made gifts towards the supper for the dance to-night. Owing tc matches being postponed last Saturday it was impossible to find out the exact number of tickets that had been sold for the dance which will be held in Wilson Hall The support of all players however, was assured. A gift of six sticks-was made to the Arthur Street School. The umpires’ hockey examination will be held in the Caledonian Society’s rooms on July 20. Arrangements are in hand for the playing of representative fixtures.
