(Received July 11, at 1.30 a.m.) At the Thetis inquiry John Rowe, assistant foreman shipwright at Cammel Lairds, said he examined the Thetis on the morning of departure and discovered a list of two and a half inches to port. He reported the list and was informed it would be rectified through trimming. A second examination made immediately before sailing showed a list of nearly three inches. INSPECTION BY DIVERS LONDON, July 10. (Received July 10, at 11.45 p.m.) Thirteen deep sea divers are inspecting the Thetis for the Admiralty.
