DIFFICULTY OF TRANSFER DECISION WITH RESERVE BANK <Fbom Our Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, July 10. An explanation that the question was the concern of the Reserve Bank was given to-day by the Prime Minister (Mr Savage) when his attention was drawn to the statement from Auckland that bowlers in various parts of New Zealand who wished to compete in the Golden Gate Exposition September tournament were having difficulty in arranging the transfer of funds for the trio. Mr Savage said that the details in such cases were the concern of the Reserve Bank. He could not tell the Reserve Bank to let one man go and stop another. The bank naturally dealt with such questions on their merits and could do nothing else. What the bank did had a general application.
