GERMAN SOLDIERS SHOT
ATTEMPTING TO ESCAPE UNITS FROM SUWALKAI (Independent Cable Service) LONDON, July 10. (Received July 10, at 10.30 p.m.) Polish newspapers report that 13 German soldiers were shot while attempting to escape to Poland from Suwalkai. Seven of 20 others escaped during an attempt to desert from the East Prussia garrison.
