HAWKER HURRICANE
BRITISH FIGHTING PLANE AMAZINGLY RAPID CLIMBERS BRUSSELS, July 10. (Received July 10, at 11.30 p.m.) At the international air meeting Germany did not show modern service types of planes but Britain displayed a Hawker Hurricane fighter and nine Vickevs-Wellington bombers. France was represented by several modern fighters and bombers, all of which created an excellent impression. The Hawker Hurricane/however, stole the show with amazingly rapid climbing.
