AITCHESON. —On June 10, 1939, at Timaru, Howard Samuel McKenzie, dearly beloved second son of James Andrew and Dorothy Evelyn Aitcheson, of 69a Otipua road, Tirnaru, and late of Waikouaiti; aged 19 years. Deeply regretted.

CARTWRIGHT.—On June 10, 1939, at his residence, “ Mill Farm,” Pleasant Point, James, dearly beloved husband of Elizabeth Cartwright; in his eighty-third vear.

DAVIE—On June 11, 1939, at Dunedin. Alice Jane Davie, beloved mother of Norman, Mavis, and Rodney Davie. “At rest.” Private interment. —R. McLean and Son, funeral directors. DIEHL.—On June 10, 1939, at Dunedin, Mary Jane, beloved wife of Arthur E. Diehl, James street, Green Island, and only sister of Mrs G. Wilson, 42 Exe street, Oamaru; aged 64 years. R.l.P.—The Funeral will leave the Catholic Church To-day (Monday), the 12th inst., at 2.30 p.m., for the Clyde Cemetery.—L. Vercoe, funeral director.
