PROPOSED ACTION "A WASTE OF TIME"

WELLINGTON, June 9. When a letter from the National Peace Council, asking for support for holding a world peace conference was read at the Makara County Council meeting, a member interjected: "It's a waste of time. Get Mr Savage to write to Mussolini and Hitler and see how he gets on." The letter was received.
