CRASH AT FUNERAL

MOURNER FATALLY INJURED Ernest Ayers, 65-year-old Lundoner, died in Yarmouth General Hospital last month He was one of three mourners who were injured when a motor hearse came into collision with the mourner's car on Acle New road near Yarmouth. The hearse was taking a coffin containing the body of Susannah Mary Ayers, who had died aged 90, to Hingham for interment I* pulled up behind a stationary lorry to let other traffic pass and the mourners' car hil the hearse. The coffin was thrown on to the driver's seat, smashing the glass, and doing other damage.
