Judgment by Default Judgment for the plaintiff by default was entered in the following cases:— The Perpetual Trustees Estate and Agency Company of New Zealand, Ltd., v. Francis Dionisio Johnson (Otokia). claim £SB 9s, for arrears of rent, with costs totalling £6; the Otago Hospital Board v Robert F Sullivan, claim £5 2s, for board, lodging and maintenance in the Public Hospital, with costs (£1 10s 6d); Mackintosh Caley Phoenix Ltd.. v. W. J. Scholium (Gisborne). claim £7 17s 6d. money due under a contract for the sale of goods, with costs (£1 Us 6d); the Dunedin City Corporation v Albert N. Hope, claim £22 Us 3d. for rates, with costs (£4 3s 6d); the Dunedin City Corporation v. Marietta W. Shiel. claim £Bl 10s 9d. for rates, with costs (£5 3s 6d); Bray Bros (Dunedin) v. Chang Chue Wing, claim £6B 15s 5d for goods supplied, with costs (£2).
