LUCKY THIRTEEN

Thirteen has been the lucky number of Captain Thomas Bond and Mrs Bond, of Belvedere road. Tunton. Somerset, who lately celebrated their golden wedding. Both were born on the thirteenth of a month, and they have had 13 children. As a boy Thomas Bond ran away from home to join the army. In 1913 he obtained a commission in the Somerset Light Infantry. On November 13 1926. he retired. This is his thirteenth year as major and quartermaster of the South-west-ern Church Lads' Brigade. Captain and Mrs Bond enjoy excellent health.
