- PEER'S GRANDDAUGHTER Miss Winifreda Irene Bevan. 23-year-old daughter of Mr Edmound. Bevan and the Hon. Mrs Bevan. of Hilston Park, Monmouth, South Wales, and granddau"hter of Lord Grantly. was married by declaration at Jedburgh, Roxburghshire, last month. m The bridegroom was Herr Wuhelm Otto Lionel von Stranz. described as a laundry proprietor, of Jedburgh. Herr Stranz, whose father was Baron Otto von Stranz. of Germany, js a. British-born subject. He recently acquired premises in Jedburgh to start a laundry. ' The bride and bridegroom appeared. with two witnesses in the 'office of Mr E. Kirkpatrick. a Jedburgh, solicitor, and made a declaration of marriage according to the Scottish- custom. Herr Stranz had qualified by the necessary 21 days' residence in Scotland. Later the Honorary Sheriff-Substitute Anderson granted a petition to have the marriage certified and registered.
